9. Service
Warning: Always switch off the machine and remove the power supply prior to all types of servicing and
maintenance. If you have any technical questions regarding the machine, please contact your local
representative.
9.1 Replacing the gloves
Remove the screws from the insertion ring and pull the gloves / cuffs off from the metal ring. Pull the new gloves / cuffs from the
inside towards the outside and over the metal ring. Place the gloves / cuffs with ring back into the chamber opening and attach
the insertion ring with the screws lightly tightened. Adjust the gloves / cuffs and then carefully tighten the screws alternately.
9.2 Replacing the sandblasting nozzle
Loosen the nozzle from the hand piece using a wrench no. 12 or a ring spanner. Remove the nozzle and replace with a new
one. Screw the hand piece and nozzle back together. The nozzle must sit straight in the tube.
9.3 Replacing the lamp
Turn off the machine and pull the plug. Unscrew the two fastening caps. Take off the upper cover by unscrewing the
upper two screws using a screw driver. Unscrew the screws of the white reflector and lift the reflector. Now, you can
access the lamp. Unscrew the lamp (LED 65W, E27) anti-clockwise and insert new lamp.
9.4 Replacing the viewing window
Unscrew the support splints from the base of the frontal flap. Remove the glass pane and replace with a new one. Screw the
support splints back on.
9.5 Replacing the hand piece tube
Loosen the brass cap at the end of the tube inside the blasting chamber, remove the tube and replace with a new one. Turn the
brass cap just slightly. The end of the tube must be widened beforehand, e.g. using pointed pliers or heat.
9.6 Blasting performance too low
With reduced blasting performance, check the filling level of the abrasive container and refill it, if necessary (see chapter 8.3).
If the blasting performance is still too low, check the permeability of the blasting nozzle.
9.7 Emptying the abrasive drawer
The unit is equipped with an abrasive drawer, which is pulled out forward for emptying.
