17. Never use the appliance without water! It can cause damage.
18. Never direct a steam or hot water jet toward the body.

23. To decalcify the appliance, use espresso machine liquid decalcifier.

BEFORE FIRST USE
After unpacking the appliance, make sure that all the buttons are off and the Steam Knob (5) is switched to the right. Before use, wipe the
appliance (please see "Cleaning and Maintenance"). Remove the Water Tank (4) and fill it up to MAX. It is recommended to use filtered
water. This prevents lime build-up and improves the taste of the prepared coffee. Do not use carbonated water. After filling the Tank (4)
with water, put it in its place. Remove the Steam Nozzle (17). Then install the Filter Holder (20) by placing it below the Water Outlet (16)
and turning it to the right. Place a cup under the installed Filter. Connect the power cord and press the ON/OFF Switch (9). The ON/ OFF
Indicating Lamp (6) will light up. After reaching adequate temperature lamp will stop blinking. Press the Coffee/ Hot Water Button (10)
immediately and wait until water starts to flow out of the filter. This means that the hydraulic system of the appliance has been filled with
water.
NOTE: If have not used your machine for a few days, it is recommended that you pass at least one cup of water through the hydraulic
system.
HEATING THE ESPRESSO MACHINE
It is important to heat the appliance so that the brewed coffee would have the right temperature. Make sure that the Steam Knob (5) is
closed and there is water in the tank (4). Place the jug under the Steam Nozzle (17). Insert the Filter (19) into the Filter Holder handle (20)
and place it under the Water Outlet (16). If you want the cups to be heated, place them on the Cup Warmer (1). Turn on the machine (9).
Lamp (7) will blink. After reaching adequate temperature lamp will stop blinking. Place the cups on the Tray (13) and press the Coffee/ Hot
Water Button (10). Wait until two cups of water flow out. Push ten button (11). Indicating Lamp (8) will light up. After reaching adequate
temperature lamp will stop blinking. Turn the Steam Knob (5) to the left and wait until a small amount of water flows into the cup. Close the
Steam Knob (5) and switch all buttons off.
PREPARING ESPRESSO
The machine is used for preparing espresso. All other beverages (e.g. café latte, latte macchiato are cappuccino) are espresso-based.
Measure the appropriate amount of coffee and place it in the filter (19). To prepare espresso, use one coffee measuring spoon (18). Make
sure that the coffee has been ground properly. Then place the Filter with the coffee inside in the Filter Holder (20). Place the Filter Holder
in the machine, turning it approximately 45 degrees to the right. Fill the Water Tank (4) with cold water. Connect the appliance to a mains
socket. NOTE: Remember that the device requires grounding. Turn on the machine (9). Lamp (7) will blink. After reaching adequate
temperature lamp will stop blinking. Press the Coffee Button (10). The brewed coffee will start to flow down through the Coffee Outlet (21).
To stop brewing, press the Coffee Button again (10). To remove the Filter Holder (20), turn it to the left. To facilitate Filter Holder removal,
turn the Knob (5) counter-clockwise to release the pressure.
NOTE: Never remove the Filter Holder (20) during brewing, that is, when the Coffee Button is on (10). After use, press the ON/ OFF
Switch (9) and disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
PREPARING CAPPUCCINO
To prepare cappuccino, you need already brewed espresso and frothed milk warmed up using steam in a separate jug (preferably made
of metal or stainless steel).
Prepare espresso (please see "Preparation"). Pour cold milk into a cooled metal jar. Make sure that the Tank (4) is filled with water. Press
the Steam Button (11).

milk under the Nozzle (17). Place the Nozzle in the milk and turn the Knob (5) counterclockwise. Coming out of the Nozzle, the steam will
start to froth and warm the milk in the jug. While milk is being frothed, rotate the jug around the Nozzle. To avoid hot milk splashing, never
remove the Nozzle from the milk unless the Knob (5) is turned to the right. In order to avoid heating the jug with milk, make sure that the
Nozzle does not directly touch its bottom or sides. The milk should be frothed on the surface and right under it. If steam does not come
out, the Nozzle may be clogged. When the milk is sufficiently frothed and warmed up, press the Steam Button (11) to complete the
operation. Set the jug with the frothed milk aside for a moment. Then pour the milk into your cup of espresso. After use, press the ON/
OFF Switch (9) and disconnect the appliance from the power supply. If the interval between twice operations is more than 25 minutes, the
appliance will shut off automatically.
