• Holes, screws, cables, etc. must not interfere with
the equipment already installed, the air conditioner will
operate in a vertical position (perfectly rested).
Selecting the installation location
Before the application, make sure that the cabinet is not
near heat sources or hot air flows. If the air conditioner
is installed on a door, make sure that the hinges sup-
port the weight of the unit and, if air conditioner depth
obstructs total opening of the door, implement a stop
for the latter.
Make sure that the inside of the cabinet allows ade-
quate air circulation, by avoiding recirculation, that
the internal air delivery and return inlets are free and
EN
spaced by least 200mm from walls or construction
elements and that it is possible to perform an effective
condensate drainage system.
Make sure there is sufficient space for each application,
both inside and outside, and there is enough space to
allow for easy maintenance. We recommend installing
the air conditioner as high as possible.

Air conditioner assembly
Outdoor installation
– Arrange the holes according to the drilling template.
– Unpack the unit as described in chapter 3 of the gen-
eral manual and remove the unit from the packaging by
using eye bolts.
Apply the supplied gasket on the back of the unit so
that there are no uncovered points ( Cap. 15) in the con-
tact points and fasten the unit to the cabinet by using
the supplied screws.

Assembly with semi-flush/fully flush frame:
– Arrange the holes according to the drilling template
of the semi-recessed/fully recessed frame.
– Remove the thread protection rubber grommets
from the frame inserts.
– Insert the semi-recessed/fully recessed frame in the
arranged hole.
– Apply the supplied gasket on the frame.
– Fasten the frame to the wall by using the supplied
washers and nuts.
– If required, cut the condensate drain pipe so that it
does not bend, it is advisable to perform a diagonal cut.
– Carry out the operations in the "External installation"
paragraph for assembly of the air conditioner (second
and third point).
WARNING
Do not obstruct circulation of the air drawn or/and
ejected from the air conditioner.
Condensate drain: it is located on the base of the air
conditioner. It must always be facing downwards (no
siphons must be created), it must be laid without bends,
its diameter must not be reduced in case of extension.
In some models there is a condensate heatsink, which
enables a reduction (depending on the operating con-
ditions) of condensate coming out of the air condition-
er. The heatsink operates as follows: the condensate
falls inside a basin/jar through which the hot pipe of the
compressor is passed, which causes the liquid to evap-
