INSTRUCTIONS/WARNINGS ON THE USE OF MICROWAVE OVENS
ATTENTION: It is dangerous for everyone, with the exception of the authorized personnel, to carry out any
maintenance or repair operation that involves the removal of any cover that protects against exposure to
microwave energy;
ATTENTION: The liquids or other foods must be heated in sealed containers specifically envisaged for
heating in microwave ovens;
ATTENTION: Microwave heating of drinks can result in delayed eruptive boiling. It is therefore necessary to
take care when handling the container;
eggs in their shells and whole hardboiled eggs must not be heated in microwave ovens as they can
explode, even when microwave heating has been completed;
the oven must be cleaned periodically and all food residues must be removed;
neglecting to clean the oven could cause deterioration of the surfaces that could impact negatively on the
life of the apparatus and lead to a danger situation;
the apparatus must not be cleaned using water jets.
ATTENTION: Do not program excessive heating times. Overheating can lead to contamination or a fire.
ATTENTION: If parts of the inlet openings, outlet openings, access devices, inspection openings, microwave
barriers, covers or microwave casings are damaged, the apparatus must not be allowed to operate until it has
been repaired by an expert.
MICROWAVE OVEN MUST BE REMOVED COMPLETELY FROM THE VENDING MACHINE AND PUT
BACK INTO OPERATION IN IT WHEN IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED.
ATTENTION: The microwave operation must not emit hazardous radiation or a dangerous level of toxicity or
any similar hazard after every repair.
Maintenance must be carried out regularly on the apparatus and it must be kept in good condition so as to
guarantee that the dispersion of microwaves does not exceed the permitted limit.
MAINTENANCE OF THE MICROWAVE OVEN MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY EXPERT
PERSONNEL.
