5.2.2 Notes
•
If the coff ee only comes out in drips or not at all, the knob for
setting the grind level (fi g. 7) must be turned by one position
clockwise (fi rst see 5.2.4 on page 14, 'Setting the grind level').
Turn one click at a time until the coff ee is delivered satisfactorily.
•
If the coff ee comes out too fast and the crema does not meet your
taste, turn the knob by one position anticlockwise (fi rst see 5.2.4
on page 14, 'Setting the grind level'). Make sure that you do
not turn the knob for setting the grind level too far, as otherwise
coff ee may come out in drips when dispensing 2 cups.

Tips to make hotter coff ee
7
º
If 2/3 minutes have passed, since you last made coff ee, before
making coff ee again you can preheat the brewing unit by
using the menu setting RINSING (see 6.2.6 on page 28). Run
off the water into the underlying drip tray or alternatively use
this water to fi ll (and then empty) the cup to be used for the
coff ee, so as to preheat it.
º
Unless preheated, do not use cups that are too thick, as they
will absorb too much heat.
