programming
Pierce relevant cable entry
Fasten the cabinet on the relevant surface
Observe the specifications regarding electrical connection and insert the third-party detector connecting
module
Connecting cable for loop
Cable type as per national specifications:
e.g. communications cable I-Y (St) Y n x 2 x 0.8 mm or comparable and employ only shielded twisted
pair cables with special designation for fire detection
Connect third-party detectors
Use clearly identified cable I-Y (St) Y n x 2 x 0,8 mm and employ only shielded twisted pair cables with
special designation for fire detection, and consider furthermore the requirements of the local standard!
The shielding must be connected for EMI protection of the cable
The max. permissible loop resistor depends on the third-party detector
De-insulate and connect cables (The terminals are designed for conductor cross sections of 1.5 mm
The third-party connecting module is programmed with the service and programming software tools 8000
FB 789807.10 / 05.17
For easy installation the terminals of the third-party connecting module may be removed
with a suitable tool, such as long-nose pliers. When the loops have been connected,
attach the terminal strip to the plug contact again.
