Using Your Vacuum

WARNING
Before using your vacuum, make sure that the Dirt Tank is in locked position and that all filters, both pre
and post-filters, are in place. DO NOT operate your vacuum without these filters.

Twist the Upper Quick
Release™ Cord Wrap down
to quickly remove cord.

NOTE: Some berber carpets have a tendency to fuzz with wear. Repeated strokes in the
same area may enhance this condition.

Connect power cord plug
to a polarized outlet.
Press the Handle Recline
Pedal with your foot to
place your vacuum in
one of three positions:
Upright: For storage and
transporting.
Normal Cleaning: Press
Handle Recline pedal
once for most household
floor cleaning tasks.
Low Cleaning: With
the vacuum in normal
cleaning position, press
Handle Recline Pedal
again for reaching under
low furniture, such as
tables, chairs, or beds.

Step on the red Power
Switch Pedal on the back
to turn the unit ON.

To turn the unit OFF,
step again on the red
Power Switch Pedal.
