Introduction
The Short Installation and Operation Manual is an integral part of this device. It contains important
information for the safe use of the device. More detailed information - see QR-Code at the
beginning. Hand over all documents when passing on the device to third parties.
Intended use
The device is designed for installation in caravans, motor homes or boats. The device is solely
suitable for cooling, freezing and storing food. The device is not suitable for the professional storage
of medicines.
This device can be used by children aged 8 years or over, as well as by persons with
diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience and
knowledge, providing they are supervised, or have been taught how to use the
device safely and are aware of the resulting risks. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the cooling appliance. Children aged 3 to 8 years
may load and unload the appliance.
Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant
in this appliance.
For DC only version: The appliances must only be supplied at safety extra low
voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance on page 3.
General instructions for installation
• When positioning the device, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
• Place the device in such a way that the air heated during operation can be easily removed.
• If necessary, use the optionally available mounting frames for installation.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the
device.
• Only connect the device to a power supply that corresponds to the specifications on the type
plate. Observe the required cable cross-sections and fuses. Make sure that the polarity is correct
when connecting to direct current (red: +, black: -).
• If the power cable for this cooler is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer
service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent safety hazards.
• On boats, when operating with AC voltage (ACDC devices only), you must protect the device
with an fault current circuit breaker.
• Short-term inclinations, e.g. on boats up to 30°, are permissible.
General instructions for use
• Before using the device for the first time, clean the inside and outside with a damp cloth.
• Only store food inside the device in its original packaging or suitable containers. Meat and fish
must not come into contact with other foodstuffs or dip onto other foodstuffs. Glass bottles
containing liquids may burst.
