7. Connect a SKF hand-operated oil
pump to the hydraulic nut. Use oil
with a viscosity of 300 mm²/s
(1400 SUS) at ambient temperature.
Suitable oil for use at 20 °C (68 °F) is
SKF LHMF 300. Connect an oil
injector to the shaft duct if required.
NOTE: Do not pressurise the hydraulic
nut or oil injector at this stage.
8. Connect the SensorMount Indicator
to the connection cable on the
SensorMount bearing. The sensor is
located on the small-bore side of the
inner ring.
CAUTION: Do not use excessive force
when fitting the connector. Do not modify
the cables or connector.
