Introduction

1.5 Safety precautions for weighing platforms with raisable load plate

▲ Do not operate the weighing platforms with raisable load plate outside the temperature
range of –10 °C to +40 °C / 14 °F to 104 °F. Otherwise, the safety of the pneumatic
springs is not guaranteed.
▲ Strictly observe the safety instructions of the operating company.
▲ Only instructed personnel may open/close the weighing platforms with raisable load
plate.
▲ Protect the pneumatic springs against soiling and damage.
▲ Have soiled or damaged pneumatic springs replaced immediately.
▲ Pneumatic springs are spare parts. Use only the spare parts specified by
METTLER TOLEDO.
▲ The weighing platform must be checked to ensure compliance with the safety
requirements before being put into service for the first time, following any service work
and at least every 3 years.
