Attaching the mounting plate
to the wall
□ Place the mounting plate (AA) over the outlet box, so
the outlet box can be seen in the circle in the center
of the mounting plate (AA).
□ Mark the location of the four keyholes on the wall.
□ Remove the mounting plate (AA) from the wall. Use
the drill to bore four 5 mm deep holes in the wall,
placing the holes following the location of the four
keyholes on the mounting plate (AA).
□ Insert the plastic anchors (FF) into the holes on the
wall.
□ Lightly screw the self-threading screws (EE) into the
plastic anchors (FF). Be sure to leave about 1/8 in.
between the heads of the self-threading screws (EE)
and the wall.
□ Place the mounting plate (AA) onto the protruding
heads of the self-threading screws (EE).
□ Gently pull down on the mounting plate (AA) until the
heads of the self-threading screws (EE) slide into the
narrow ends of the keyholes.

Connecting the electrical
wires
□ Wrap the ground wire from the fixture around the
ground screw (DD) on the mounting plate (AA).
Use a wire connector (CC) to connect the ground
wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the
outlet box.
□ Use a wire connector (CC) to connect the white
wire from the fixture to the white wire (neutral
wire) from the outlet box.
□ Use a wire connector (CC) to connect the black
wire from the fixture to the black wire (live wire)
from the outlet box.
□ Wrap the three wire connections with electrical
tape for a more secure connection.
□ Position the wires back inside the outlet box.
