2. Spread a thin layer of glue into the holes of the Towel Bar (F) and insert the chucked ends of the
Towel Bar Supports (G). Gently tap with a rubber mallet and quickly wipe away any excess glue.
Decide which end of the island you want to place the towel bar. Start two #10x2" Pan Head
Screws (ZD) through the holes in the inside edge of the End Apron (E). Align the
screws with the holes in the towel bar supports and fasten securely. See Figure 2.

3. Place the top assembly face-down on a clean protected surface. Place the Leaf (B) against the back
edge of the top. Using #5x58" Antique Brass Flat Head Screws (ZA), attach the Hinges (ZB) with the
knuckles facing up. Place two hinges about four inches from each end and center one in the middle.
