Note:
When using as a lanyard, total length of carabiner + shock absorber
+lanyard + carabiner should not exceed 2 meters.
CAUTION
* 89/68/6EEC Directive Working at height is one of dangerous activities
that can lead to serious injuries and death. It is under the responsibility of
the user to learn and apply appropriate techniques and safety methods.
Anchor Sling should be only used by a trained personnel or under the
supervision of an authorized personnel. Improper use can cause serious
injury and fatal accidents.
* There must be a plan of rescue that is to be applied in case of emergency
which may occur during working at height.
* Fall clearance must be considered below the working area,
* This anchor sling must not be used for other purposes. The equipment
alone is not suitable for working at height. Fall Arrest Harness (En 361),
Extension ropes (Lanyard EN 354), shock absorbers (EN 355), connectors (EN
362), must be used together with equipment.
* The user should minimize the amount of space where there is a fall hazard.
* This product must be used between - 40 °C and + 80 °C air conditions.
* Do not tie a knot on the product. Each knot reduces strength of the
product by 50%
* Don't use this product on sharp edges.
Raw Material
This Anchor Sling;
Textile Materials: % 100 Polyester
Metal Parts: 304 or 316 Stainless Steel produced of Accessories polyester,
Polyamide and PVC.
General Specification
This anchor sling which is made of polyester should be used as part of fall
arrest system in according to EN 361 standard. Our Anchor sling meets
the requirements of 89/686/EEC directive and EN 795/B:2012 and
EN 354:2010 standards.
1. Product Use
1.1- As an Anchorage Sling - EN 795 Type B :2012
This product was tested in accordance with EN 795 Class B, do not use
this product other than what it is designed for. Only one person at a time
is allowed to work with this anchoring sling
1.2 - As a Lanyard - EN 354 :2010
* Always use your lanyard above back D Ring of your Safety Harness as
anchor point.
* When using your lanyard with a carabiner and shock absorber, total
length of the system should not exceed 2 meters.
* Lanyard should be used together with a harness which is a part of fall
arrest system with EN 361 standard.
* This product should only be used by one person at a time.
Safe Working Clearance (Minimum)
* Distance between anchor point and the ground must be minimum 6,25
meters.
* This product must not be used as a lifting equipment
2 Product Control and Validation

2.1 Before each use

Working at height equipment must be used as personalized.
These products must be controlled on regular basis before and after each
single use and findings must be recorded into product control register sheet.
Apply the following controls by laying the product on a flat surface on an
adequate lightening environment,
• Webbings should be checked for cuts, abrasions, color change, broken
stitches and undue stretching
• Buckles should be checked for signs of wear, cracks, deformation, corro-
sion or other damage. They should function correctly and smoothly.
• D Rings and other metal parts should be checked for signs of wear,
cracks, deformation, corrosion or other damage.
• Labels should be secure and legible.
If at least one of these deviations is found during the controls, usage of
the equipment should be suspended or retired and immediately send back
to producer for detailed inspection. No repair is allowed by unauthorized
person. Only manufacturer directions should be applied.
2.2 - During each use
When use product with a system, make sure that all pieces of equipment
in the system are correctly positioned with respect to each other.
3. Supplementary Information Regarding Standard; EN 365

3.1 - Rescue Plan

A user who has been incapacitated by an injury or medical condition and
who is suspended by the Anchor sling must e rescued immediately. So
user must always have a rescue plan for such emergencies. Adequately
trained personnel and rescue equipment must be present.
3.2 - Anchor Point
The anchor point of the system comprises this product should preferably
be located above the user or should be at the waist level of the user. An
attachment point below this level will cause a serious injury or death. The
anchor point must conform to the requirements of the EN 795 standard
and the minimum strength of it must be 12 kN.
3.3 - Various Situations
- An anchor sling is the only device allowed for supporting the body in a
fall arrest system.
- In a fall-arrest system, it is essential to check the required clearance
under the user before each use, to avoid any impact with the ground or an
obstacle in case of a fall.
- Make sure that the anchor point is correctly positioned in order to limit
the risk and the height of a fall.
