1 Press a key one or more times to select a
letter, number, or symbol.
2 Repeat the step above to enter more
characters.
When you enter three or more characters
in a row, your phone may guess the rest
of the word. For example, if you enter prog,
you might see:

Press S up to accept a word, S left or
right to reject a word, or # to insert a
space. (Pressing S down does nothing.)

right to reject it.
Press # to enter
a space after prog.
If you want a different word, continue
pressing keys to enter the remaining
characters.
Press S left or right to move the flashing
cursor to the left or right in a text
message.
The first character of every sentence is
capitalized. If necessary, press S down
to change the character to lowercase
before the cursor moves to the next
position.
If you don't want to save your text or text
edits, press O to exit without saving.
iTAP® method
The iTAP software combines your key presses
into common words, and predicts each word
as you enter it. This can be faster than Tap
method because your phone combines the
