Thank you for purchasing the A2™ All Mountain Helmet from Troy Lee Designs. TLD designers and
engineers were challenged to improve upon safety and performance of the world renowned A1™ All
Mountain Helmet. To achieve the goal, Troy Lee Designs started by gathering feedback from
weekend warriors, top professionals and all riders in between. The research, engineering and design
culminated in Troy Lee's next generation all mountain helmet – A2™.
Advancing helmet safety has always been and continues to be a top priority at Troy Lee Designs. A2™
was no exception. A2™ has a state-of-the-art co-molded EPS and EPP impact liner. Combining EPS
with EPP and pairing with MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) provides better energy
management during low, mid and high speed impacts; and can reduce rotational forces transferred
to a rider's brain during certain impacts. Bottom line, Troy Lee Designs and the A2™ have raised the
bar even higher when it comes to rider safety.
Performance and fit of A1™ were unparalleled but we were challenged to improve. The size of A2's
airflow ports increased by 25% to drive more cooling power without sacrificing safety or comfort.
On the inside, air channels were engineered to draw more cool air in and exhaust more hot air out.

als and all riders in between as one of the safest, most technically advanced and functionally beautiful
