Controller Diagram:
Direction Pad
The D-pad controls the direction in which objects moves. It is also used for navigating
in menus and is the preferred control mechanism when using the programming func-
tion.
Analogue Sticks (L- & R-Stick)
The two analogue sticks control two axes (X- and Y-axis). In different games you can
modify the reaction of the analogue sticks. The analogue sticks are more sensitive
than the direction pad (i.e. if you press the analogue sticks more firmly, the action will
be more dramatic than if you press the sticks lightly.) The analogue sticks allow you to
execute more versatile moves. They are the preferred control mechanism for most dri-
ving and fighting games as well as for other games.
Function Buttons (A, B, X, Y, Black, White)
These buttons are used to perform various actions, depending on the game. See the
game's instruction manual for more details.
Triggers
These buttons are pressed using the index finger. Their mode of operation depends on
the game being used. They are pressure-sensitive and operate differently if you press
them lightly or firmly.
