Incident illuminator
Place the selector in "BF"
position for a brightfield inci-
dent illumination. If you have
darkfield objectives, place
the selector in "DF" position
(darkfield objectives can work
either in BF or DF)

Push the main switch of the
external power supply to posi-
tion I and use the brightness
adjustment knob to set the
desired level. (Fig.28)
Open/close the field and aper-
ture diaphragms as needed.

② Aperture diaphragm
You can center both
diaphragms with an allen
wrench. (Fig.30)
In order to perform an incident
polarization analysis, insert
the polarization filter into the
attachment.
The analyser filter can be
rotated.
