PLACE PLATFORM ONTO PIVOT MOUNTS.
With the help of a friend, carefully lift the
assembled Platform onto the pivot mounts
on your vehicle. Position the platform evenly
so there is an equal overhang on the sides and
ideally on the front and rear as well.
NOTE: For vehicles with a rear
hatch be sure to position the
Platform so that there is adequate
hatch clearance when fully opened.
INSTALL

MOUNTING
CLAMPS.
It may be necessary to move
the pivot mounts. If you you
need to move them refer to
your mounting kit instructions
(e.g., LockNLoad SL Adapters
or LockNLoad Crossbar
Clamps).
A. Insert one M8 T-bolt into each
channel of the pivot mounts
on either side of the slats.
Twist the T-bolts so that they
are captured by the channels.
B. Lower the slat clamp onto
the T-bolt and install an M8
washer and lock nut. Do not
fully tighten. Then slide the
slat clamp so that it engages
in the side channel of the slat.
C. Use a 13 mm wrench to fully
tighten the hardware to 7 Nm.
IMPORTANT:
The slat
clamps must
be installed
on two
separate
slats for each
pivot mount.
