Make sure that the rim is firmly fixed on the clamping jaw.
Do not put your hands on the wheel. As the column returns to its working position, it can crush the hand of the
operator between the tire and the rim.
Move the hexagonal shaft of the tire-changing arm downwards so that the tire-changing mount/dismount head is at the top of the rim.
Place the locking button as shown in Fig. 4-16 Y to lock the entire tire-changing assembly. This locking involves both the horizontal and
vertical directions, and the tire-changing mount/dismount head should be 2 mm from the rim (Fig. 5-4).
Insert the lever between the tire edge and head (Fig. 5-5) so that the tire edge moves over the head.
