Machanical spindle with regulator
Dismouting: Take note of the location of the parts
1. Remove the (17), (30). pull out the spring and the ball.
2. Remove seal (21).
3. Remove the cylinder cap (36).
4. Remove the cylinder cap (10) and make sure the washer is inside
5. Remove the dowel pin (14).
6. Remove the helix (11).
7. Take off the sloted case (12).
8. Push the dowel pins (24) into the coupling body (15).
9. Pull out the complete spindle clutch.
10. Once out, remove the plate (40.4), the seeger circlip (18), the clutch spring (19), unscrew the torque
rod (13).
11. push in the dowel pins (24) untill they stick out of the coupling body (15).
12. Dismounting has fi nished.
Assembly
1. To assemble the clutch, we must have a tool to compress the spring (19) so we can put the seeger circlip
(18) and the washer (1).
2. Once this is mounted into the spindle, we introduce it into the cylinder (6) and we insert the three dowel
pins (24).
3. We now attach the cylinder cap (10), from the attached drawing we can see that the edges of the seeger
circlip must go to the left of the edges of the coupling body (15).
4. We insert the helix (11) making the three holes coincide and ensuring that the begining of the helix/
thread is in line with the edges.
5. Insert the dowel pin (14).
6. Place the cylinder cap (10) with its washer (16).
7. Insert the seeger circlip (36) at the back.
8. Insert the screw (17) the ball (31), the spring (33) and screw (30).
9. Insert the scraper seal. (21).
