If the system comprises multiple internal units, the terminating resistance is configured via the jumper (J2) on the rear side of the video
internal unit. By default, J2 is not connected.

If J3 is connected, the device will operate with 5-wire cabling instead of 6-wire cabling. For more info, contact Customer Service.
J1 may not be moved.

Place the monitor on the fixing pins of the mounting plate and press gently until you hear it click into place.
Demounting
To demount the video internal unit, insert a fine screwdriver into the opening at the top of the unit. Loosen the bolt by
applying light vertical pressure with the screwdriver and pull the internal unit from the mounting plate.
4. PROGRAMMING and OPERATION
Programming on the bell push-button
* Programming of the bell push-buttons is described in detail in the manual of the system power supply (10-801, 10-802 or 10-806) or of the service
unit (10-870).
* If you use the service unit, tear off the serial number to be found on the rear side of the video internal unit or the packaging box and stick it on the instal-
lation diagram.
* Only 1 device of this type can be programmed per memory location. Master-slave programming is not possible. See technical catalogue for the number
of memory locations per bell push-button (1 or 2 ) of the external unit.
Standard functions
Open door.
Switch off ring tone.
View the camera image from one or more cameras when no communication is taking place.
Activate control function 8 to operate a programmable relay (10-830, 10-836 or 10-837).
To activate these functions, you only need to connect the video internal unit to the external unit(s).
Alternative functions
The blue function key can be assigned the following alternative function:
If no call has been initiated: switch on the light.
If a call has been initiated, this key retains its standard function, i.e. opening the door.

Ring tones
Three fixed ring tones are used to distinguish between 3 different kinds of calls:
- call from an external unit
- call from a floor bell push button
- internal call
