Wiring the Electric
DANGER:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, shut
off power before wiring the cabinet.
CAUTION:
Grounding instructions for permanently
connected products: This product must be
connected to a grounded, metal permanent
wiring system or an equipment-grounding
conductor must be run with the circuit con-
ductors and connected to the equipment-
grounding terminal or lead on the product.
All wiring should be done by a qualified
licensed electrician.
Electricity must be connected to power the M Series
Cold Storage
cabinet.
IMPORTANT:
Power for the Electric should be provided
separately from optional cabinet lights so
that when lights are turned off, the Electric in
the cabinet remains on.
NOTES:
Requires 120 VAC 20 Amp circuit.
Up to 4 cabinets can be wired to the circuit.
1. For surface mounted cabinets, first provide
electric for cabinet through a rough-in hole in
existing wall. The location of the rough-in hole
depends on the cabinet model being installed.
Refer to Figure K to determine where to locate
rough-in hole. Cut rough-in hole, then pull electric
wire through the hole. Be sure to provide 8"
(203.2 mm) of wire to make proper and safe
connections.
2. Before mounting cabinet, remove the four access
screws on the front cover of the electrical box
(see Figure M on page 9 for location). Remove
cover for access to electrical connections.
3. Feed electric wire through wire access hole and
connector in rear of cabinet. Refer to Figure D.
4. Refer to Figure L and make all electrical connections
in accordance with local electrical codes.
