Dismantling the stirrer tools
Attach the open-end spanner (8) (size 22 mm)
onto the hexagon of the stirrer end piece and
unscrew the stirrer tool from the spindle by
turning in counterclockwise direction.
If the stirrer tool is tight, attach a second open-
end spanner (MXP 1000 EQ – size 22 mm/
MXP 800 – size 17 mm) onto the wrench flats (7)
and loosen the stirrer tool by counter-turning
with both open-end wrenches.
Operational Tips
G Do not mix explosive substances (e. g. easily
inflammable solvents) and materials with a
combustion point below 21 °C. Observe the
processing instructions of the manufacturer.
The choice of stirrer (9) depends on the nature
of the substance to be stirred. For substances
with low viscosity, such as for example, disper-
sion paint, varnish, cement, sealing compound
or cement grout, use a stirror with a left twist.
For substances with high viscosity, such as for
example, readymixed plaster, concrete, cement,
screed, putty and epoxy resin, use a stirrer with
a right twist.
Move the machine up and down while stirring.
Clean the stirrer after use.
Storage
The unit should be stored in a dry place where it
is protected against freezing.
Environmental Protection/
Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of power tools
into household waste!
According to the European Directive
2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic
equipment and its incorporation into national
law, power tools that are no longer suitable for
use must be separately collected and sent for
recovery in an environmental-friendly manner.
Service
See enclosed sheet.
Maintenance
G Periodically clean the venting slots (5) on the
motor housing.
G When the carbon brushes are worn out, the
machine switches itself off. The machine
must then be sent to customer service for
maintenance (see enclosed sheet).
G After approx. 100 hours of operation, check
the motor brushes and replace if necessary.
Clean the motor housing.
G After approx. 200 hours of operation, renew
the grease filling in the gearbox.
To verify that the double insulation is
intact, the machine must be subjected to
a safety test afterwards. Therefore, these
maintenance tasks are to be performed
only by a professional electro-workshop.
MXP 800 E
The cable may only be replaced in a specialised
electrical workshop qualified to perform such
work.

any fault acknowledged at the time of purchase,
is not covered by the warranty. Complaints will
only be acknowledged if the equipment has not
been dismantled before being sent back to the
suppliers or to an authorised PROTOOL customer
support workshop. Store the operating instruc-
