HINTS AND TRICKS
Use your air fryer to prepare food with a fraction of the oil in a fraction of the time! As a
rule, lower the temperature by 10°C and the time by 30% - 50% depending on the type
of food and quantity.
Olive oil spray or vegetable oil is excellent for air frying.
Make sure that the frying basket is filled to a maximum of two thirds. If you cook fresh
vegetables, do not put more than 3 cups of fresh vegetables in the frying basket.
To achieve an optimal result, some foods are to be turned or shaken vigorously during
the frying time. Read the COOKING TABLE as a general guide.
To avoid excess smoke, it may be necessary to empty the fat from the frying drawer
between the batches when cooking naturally fatty foods, such as chicken wings or
sausages.
Dab the food dry before air cooking to promote browning and avoid excess smoke.
Fry small batches of freshly breaded food. Press the breadcrumbs onto the food to make
it stick. Arrange the food in the frying basket so that it does not touch. This allows the air
to circulate everywhere.
You can use the hot air deep fryer to heat food. Set the temperature to 80°C and allow
the food to warm up for up to 10 minutes.
