Boiler work phases
A "SET H20" (maximum temperature of water in boiler) can be set by pressing key 1 during work phase. Boiler enters Functioning Economy "T-H2O
ECONOMY" when reached.
Before reaching temperature set on "SET H20", the boiler starts modulating power by decreasing pellet intake and reducing flue gas intake speed 5°C.
Example: "SET H2O" set at 75 °C
Work power set at 5
- The work power automatically changes to 4 upon reaching 71 °C.
- The work power automatically changes to 3 upon reaching 72 °C.
- The work power automatically changes to 2 upon reaching 73 °C.
- The work power automatically changes to 1 upon reaching 74 °C.
- The work power automatically changes to Functioning economy upon reaching 75 °C "T-H2O ECONOMY".
The boiler now automatically switches off if at least one of the following conditions exists:
If it remains in Functioning Economy "T-H2O ECONOMY" for a time set on Pr44 (30 minute default setting).
If it exceeds the temperature differential set on Pr43 (factory set value 5 °C) that is H2O Temperature > ("SET H2O" + Pr43).
With the following condition the boiler automatically ignites:
If it drops below temperature differential set on Pr43 (5 °C default setting) or Temperature H2O < ("SET H2O" – Pr43).
If the above-mentioned condition occurs when the boiler is still carrying out the switch off cycle, it is required to wait until it ends.
Brazier is cleaned at pre-set time intervals (indicated on display with "BRAZIER CLEANING") for an established duration (see parameters table)
Producing domestic hot water (prepared models only)
The domestic hot water is produced instantly via a double heat exchanger immersed in the water inside the boiler.
Therefore, the boiler must be at temperature (60°C at least) to have domestic hot water.
Set boiler in DHW power "DHW" if a large amount of domestic hot water is required.
The domestic hot water power function "DHW" delays start-up of the heating pump at higher temperatures so that all heat produced at such domestic hot
water temperature, is transferred.
Press key 5 to set the pump's start temperature and use keys 5 or 6 to change the "SET DHW" temperature (we recommend keeping this temperature at
70–75°C).
If DHW power "DHW" is manually set, the boiler must be re-set with work power from 1 to 5 when domestic hot water is no longer required.
The boiler is equipped with a flow switch that automatically sets DHW power "DHW" the moment hot water is requested. On the contrary, the boiler
automatically returns to previously set work power when domestic hot water is no longer requested.
If the water is particularly hard, it is indispensable to install a lime scale device at the inlet to the heat exchanger, which must be selected on the
basis of the features of the water.
Boiler switch-off
Pressing button 4 (ON/OFF) switches the boiler off. The display shows "FINAL CLEANING". The flow of pellets is interrupted, switching the motor reducer
off. The flue gas intake device speed is increased to maximum and switched off after equipment cooling, displaying "OFF".
Modification of DHW, room and water temperature setting.
- Water Temperature
Press key 1 to select "SET H2O" mode to modify water temperature. Press keys 1 and 2. The display appears as in the figure below during this operation.

Press key 4 or wait a few seconds to confirm the wanted value setting.
The boiler enters functioning economy upon reaching said temperature.
The boiler now automatically switches off if at least one of the following conditions exists:
If it remains in Functioning Economy "T-H2O ECONOMY" for a time set on Pr44 (30 minute default setting).
If it exceeds the temperature differential set on Pr43 (factory set value 5°C) that is H2O Temperature > ("SET H2O" + Pr43).
