Intended Purpose /Indication
Target group: Women after various breast surgeries
Compression textiles are designed to keep the operated breast or breasts immobile and/or
stabilised during the healing phase.
Compression textiles
• can support wound healing after breast surgery.
• can stabilize the shape and function of the operated breast.
• can protect sensitive scar tissue and reduce irritation.
• can minimize the risk of postoperative oedema.
• can reduce postoperative swelling/pain.
Contraindications/Risks
Relative contraindications: In the case of the following clinical symptoms, it isup to your doc-
tor to decide whether a compression textile can be used:
• Skin diseases
• Very sensitive scar area in the surgical zone
• Radiodermatitis
• Known material allergy (contact dermatitis)
Side effects: If the wrong size is selected, this may lead to local pressure oversensitivity and
disorders of blood flow and/or lymphatic flow. In rare cases allergic reactions may occur. A
contraindication exists if there is a known allergy to one of the components that may come
into contact with the skin.
General Care Instructions
• The care instructions can be found on the care label of the compression textile.
• Before washing, close the zip and Velcro fastenings as well as hooks and eyes.
• It is recommended that the textile is washed in a laundry bag.
• If the compression textile is washed with other textiles, it is recommended that similar
colours should be washed together.

Instructions for Use of Seamless Compression Textiles
Optimal fixation/stabilization of the operated breast tissue is also guaranteed with double
sizes and universal cups. The compression textile in the primary packaging is prepared for
direct clinical use in the operating room and can be adjusted to fit the patient directly after
surgery by trained personnel.
Determining the Correct Bra Size
The underbust measurement of the standing patient is determined with a standard tape
measure. underbust measurement relates to a colour and a symbol and is clearly assigned
to a specific bra size. Please refer to the measurement table in the product catalogue for
the correct size. The unique Seamless circular knitting technology allows for universal cup
sizes and can be adapted individually to the size and shape of the breast. Please refer to the
measurement table on the inside of the packaging for the correct size of the Theraport Post
Surgery Bra.

• Adequate immobilisation and stabilization of the breast tissue ensures an optimal healing
process.
• Depending on the medical indication, the Seamless Compression Bra can be combined with
any compression belt.
