Instructions for Use of Compression Textiles
Determining the Correct Bra Size
The dimensions of the underbust and overbust should be determined using a tape measure
with the patient in a standing position. The underbust measurement gives the width of the
underbust while the overbust measurement gives the cup size. Depending on the medical
indication, the compression bra can be combined with any compression belt.

Theraport Post Surgery Bra instructions for use
Putting on the bra:
Place the bra around your body with the Velcro closure facing forward. Fasten the Velcro
closure underneath your chest. When it is properly in place, roll the bra up over your chest.
Slip your arms into the straps and pull them up over your shoulders.
To prepare the bra for brachytherapy:
Find the catheter outlet location in the firmer bra material under the arm and mark it on the
inside using a felt-tip pen. Then cut a small opening the size of the catheter into the material.
Make sure that it is above the underbust band. Once the catheter has been fitted, you can ad-
just the bra and guide the end of the catheter out through the opening in the bra.
