Este producto está diseñado para uso residencial y de oficina en interiores, no para uso industrial
u otro uso comercial. Utilice su ventilador sólo con una instalación eléctrica adecuada que cumpla
con el código eléctrico. Si tiene dudas sobre la idoneidad de su instalación eléctrica, consulte a un
electricista calificado. Al usar su ventilador, lea y siga las INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES a
continuación. La palabra ADVERTENCIA en estas instrucciones indica un peligro que, si no se evita,
podría causar la muerte o lesiones.
Al usar o darle servicio a los aparatos eléctricos, siempre se deben seguir precauciones básicas
de seguridad para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica y de lesiones personales,
incluidas las siguientes: Utilice el ventilador sólo como se describe en este manual. Cualquier
otro uso no recomendado por el fabricante puede provocar incendios, descargas eléctricas o
lesiones personales. No coloque el ventilador en una superficie desigual o más pequeña que el
ventilador que pueda provocar que el ventilador se voltee o caiga, causando daños a la propiedad
o lesiones a las personas. No utilice el ventilador sin las patas estabilizadoras. Se requiere
extrema precaución cuando el ventilador es utilizado por niños o cerca de estos o de personas
discapacitadas. No utilice el ventilador sin los protectores del ventilador puestos. No se siente
ni se pare sobre el ventilador. No coloque objetos sobre el ventilador.
Advertencia
Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o descarga eléctrica, no utilice este ventilador con ningún
dispositivo de control de velocidad de estado sólido, como un interruptor de atenuación.
No introduzca ni deje que entren objetos en ninguna abertura de ventilación o escape, ya que
esto puede causar una descarga eléctrica y/o un riesgo de incendio. No lo use en áreas donde
se utiliza o almacene gasolina, pintura o materiales inflamables. Un ventilador tiene piezas que
generan chispas en su interior. No deje al ventilador en lugares donde cortinas o telones sean
atraídos hacia el ventilador o contra el protector del ventilador.
Este aparato posee un enchufe polarizado (una clavija es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir
el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe entra en el tomacorriente polarizado en un solo
sentido. Si el enchufe no entra completamente en el tomacorriente, gire el enchufe. Si aun así
no encaja, contacte a un técnico electricista calificado. No intente eliminar esta característica de
seguridad. No opere ningún ventilador con un cable o enchufe dañado o después de una avería
si se ha caído o dañado de cualquier manera. No tienda el cable por debajo de las alfombras
o cubra el cable con tapetes, alfombras o cubiertas similares. Coloque el cable lejos del área de
tráfico y donde no pueda provocar tropezones. Utilice su ventilador sólo en ambientes secos.
No coloque el ventilador en el cuarto de baño, área de lavar o lugares similares, cerca de lavabos,
lavadoras, piscinas u otras fuentes de agua.

This product is intended only for indoor residential and office use, not for industrial or other
commercial use. Use your fan only with adequate wiring that is to Code. If you have any
questions about the adequacy of your wiring, consult a qualified electrician. In using your fan,
you should read and follow the IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS below. The word WARNING in
these instructions indicates a hazard that, if not avoided, could result in death or injury.
When using or servicing electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, and injury to persons, including the
following: Use fan only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. Do not place fan on an
uneven or surface smaller than the fan which might allow fan to tip or fall causing damage to
property or injury to people. Do not use the fan without the feet stabilizers. Extreme caution
is necessary when fan is used by or near children or invalids. Do not use the fan with the fan
guards removed. Do not sit or stand on fan. Do not place objects on fan.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid state speed control
device such as a dimmer switch. Do not insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or
exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock, and/or a fire hazard. Do not use it in areas
where gasoline, paint, or flammable materials are used or stored. A fan has sparking parts
inside. Do not leave fan where drapes or curtains will get pulled into the fan or against the
fan guard.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or
plug or after the fan malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Do not route
cord under carpeting or cover cord with throw rugs, runner, or the like. Arrange cord away
from traffic area and where cord will not be tripped over. Use your fan only in dry
environments. Do not place fan in bathroom, laundry area, or similar locations, near sinks,
washing machines, swimming pools or other sources of water.
Plastic feet are provided for required stability, and must be installed to insure safe operation.
Insert each one into one of the two slots located on the bottom side of the metal fan housing.
