C. Power assistance
The user must rotate the pedal forward to benefit from the motorised
assistance. This is an important safety feature. This power-assisted
bicycle provides motorised assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h.
Beyond that, the engine will stop. You can go faster, but you will have
to do it on your own, without any power assistance.
The engine located in the rear hub (20) will not function until you have
completed two full turns of the pedal. This feature protects the engine
and its controller, and extends the life of electrical components.

Pedalling assistance
To start the bike, press the main "ON/OFF" switch located at the rear
left of the battery (25).
(N.B., to be able to power on, the battery must be unlocked using its
key, via the lock located on the left-hand side of the battery, at the
height of the seat).
RECOMMENDATION: turn off the main switch on the
battery when you are no longer in the seat. This saves the
battery charge.
Note that you can use the bicycle without a battery, you just have to put
a little more effort into pedalling.
