The battery works in two ways:
•
Buffer battery - the supply voltage is battery voltage
•
Independent battery - there's a separate terminal to connect the battery
In both cases the device detects a battery and controls its level of charge.
There is no need to open the cover to
access dipswitches and connectors:
simply plug in and it is ready for use.
