SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Intended use
•
This pump is recommended for pumping clear water and chemically non-
aggressive liquids. It is not suitable for pumping flammable liquids or for
operation in places where there is a risk of explosion.
•
The pump must not be used in swimming pools.
•
Children from the age of 8 years and persons with mental, sensory and
physical impairments may only use the device if they have been thoroughly
familiarised with the functions and safety precautions by a responsible
supervisor and understand the associated risks..
Installation
•
The installation must be carried out by a qualified specialist.
•
Please check the electrical connections as well as the cable for intactness
before each commissioning.
•
Before installation, please check that the electrical connection is earthed
in accordance with the legal regulations. Make sure that the pump is
protected by an appropriate earth-leakage circuit breaker (trigger current
30 mA).
•
It is NOT recommended to make cable extensions or other technical
modifications yourself. It is not guaranteed that these modifications are
technically correct.
•
It must be ensured that the pump is sufficiently cooled during longer
operation.
•
The pumping of flammable and all other aggressive liquids is prohibited.
•
Observe water temperature of max. 35 °C
•
Never pull the pump by the live cable or pressure line.
•
Avoid narrowing of the cross section
•
If the pump is not used for a longer period of time, clean the pump, rinse
and dry it with clear water and store it at room temperature.
•
Test wells for sufficient water flow (danger of dry running).
•
The pump is to be protected by an earth-leakage circuit breaker with a
trigger current of 30 mA.
•
The electrical connection must always be carried out by an authorised
specialist
