4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION

BEFORE OPERATION

Wear Safety Glasses or Goggles.

Do not insert the Fuel Cell and the Battery.

Inspect screw tightness.

Check operation of the contact nose & trigger if moving
smoothly.

Insert the Fuel Cell and the Battery.

Hold the Tool with finger-off the trigger, then push the contact
nose against the work-piece. (The tool must not operate.)
7
Check the fan running sound.
8
Hold the Tool with contact nose free from work-piece and
pull the trigger. (The Tool must not operate.)
9
Remove the Fuel Cell and the Battery.

OPERATION

LOADING THE PINS

Procedure
1
(Fig. 8) Load the pins 1 into the slit in the rear of the Mag-
azine until they reach in front of the Nail Stopper 2.

(Fig.9) Pull the Follower Holder 3 as far to the rear and of
the magazine and release it gently.
HOW TO DRIVE THE PINS
The actuation system of the tool is only Full Sequential Actuation.
Procedure

Install the Battery and the Fuel Cell.

(Fig.10) Press the Contact Nose against where you want to
drive the pins.
The fan motor is activated, the fuel gas is jetted, mixing the
fuel with the air.

Firmly pressing the Contact Nose, pull the Trigger. A pin will
be driven into the object by combustion of the fuel.

The next pin will not be driven if the Contact Nose is applied
to the object with the Trigger pulled. Release the Trigger
and repeat Step 2 to 3 to drive the next pin.
DRIVING DEPTH ADJUSTMENT DIAL
Adjust the driving depth by twisting the adjustment dial as indicat-
ed below.

REMOVING THE PIN

(Fig.11) Pull the Follower Holder 1 and press the Follower,
then return the Follow Folder 1.

(Fig.12) Set the Magazine vertical and push the Nail Stop-
per 3 to remove the Pin 4. Be sure that no pins remain in
the Nose or Magazine.
CHANGING THE HOOK DIRECTION (Fig.13)
The Hook 1 can be directed in the two directions. Remove the
hexagon socket head cap screws 2 with hexagon wrench,
change the direction, and then, put back the bolts to reassemble.
REPLACING THE FUEL CELL
If the Fuel Gas is low, the pins cannot be driven.

(Fig. 5) Press the Latch, then pull the Fuel Cap 1.

(Fig. 14) Grab and remove the used Fuel Cell 2.

Set the new Fuel Cell.
(See Page 7 for the setting method)

It may be necessary to depress the Contact Nose 3 times
without pulling the trigger when changing a Fuel Cell.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
If the Battery is low, the red LED of the tool will be turned on.

REMOVING JAMMED PINS
• ALWAYS disconnect the Battery and Fuel Cell.
• Wear gloves when removing jams; do not use bare hands
• Confirm that you have removed all nails from nose of tool

NOTICE:
• HANDLE THE TOOL WITH CARE

• DO NOT FIRE TOOL WITHOUT FASTENERS IN IT.

(Fig. 2) Firmly holding the grip, press the latches 2 on both
sides of the Battery 1 to remove it.
Install the newly charged Battery into the Housing until it
has clicked.
(See Page 7 for the charging method)
WARNING
before reconnecting to the Battery and Fuel Cell.
Remove the Battery and the Fuel Cell.
Remove the pins remaining in the magazine.
(Fig.15) Pull up the Remove lever 1 and remove the mag-
azine from the tool.
At this point, the jammed pin should fall out. If the jammed
pin does not fall out, carefully remove the pin taking care not
to damage the Nosepiece.
(Fig. 16) Insert the front of the Magazine into the Magazine
Guide (Nose) 2.
(Fig. 17) Make sure to align the Magazine with the Maga-
zine Holder with no gap.
Push the Remove Lever until it clicks.
WARNING
Proper maintenance is required to keep tool operating safely.
EMPLOYERS, TOOL OWNERS AND TOOL OPERATORS
tool maintenance instructions are available to appropriate
personnel;
ONLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL shall repair the tool;
manufacturer's tool maintenance instructions are available
to personnel performing maintenance;
tools that require repair are removed from service and that
tags and physical segregation are used as a means of con-
trol.;
all tools in their possession are properly maintained.
INSPECT TOOL AND ALL PARTS DAILY
(1)
Tighten all screws, caps and bolts, and check if they
are properly installed
(2)
Keep the contact nose moving smoothly
(3)
Check portions that related to the tool controls
(e.g., trigger) are working properly.
CLEAN THE AIR FILTER(Fig.18)
Clean the Air Filter every other day. Open the Air Filter
Cover 1 with a regular screwdriver, and clean the Filter 2
with Compressed air.
MAINTENANCE LED INDICATOR (Fig.19)
When the LED (1) starts blinking, it is time to clean and in-
spect the tool. Bring the tool to your nearest distributor for
checking and cleaning inside of the tool.
Never drop, collide or hit the tool against a hard material. It
may be deformed, cracked or damaged.
Never lubricate the Tool because it will cause problems.
If you repeatedly fire tool without fasteners, the durability of the
tool will be reduced.
