Introduction/general information
• T his manual explains the correct handling of the machine. It should be studied before the machine is put into operation, and
read at regular intervals during the time of use.
• When the machine is sold again, forward this manual to the new owner.
• B esides the explanations and safety instructions in this manual, the user / operator has to take into account all and any precau-
tions relating to the use of technical equipment.
• We reserve the right to carry out modifications which we consider to be technically advantageous.

Safety instructions
• W arning! The non-observance of the instructions contained in this manual may cause damage to the tool and / or injury to the
user.
• Caution! Always keep this user manual accessible to the operators.
• O nly persons who have been instructed into the use of the tool are allowed to work with OTR bead breaker of type III. Safety
at work regulations and the regulations of the Employers' Liability Association must be observed.
• Use the tool only if in good working condition.
• M ake sure all hydraulic components connected are designed for the pressures specified. When the hydraulic pump is con-
nected to the tool, make sure the pump does not exceed the maximum pressure of 700 bar.
• Make sure your hydraulic pump is suitable for the OTR / EM bead breaker.
• Service/check the tool at regular intervals in line with the maintenance schedule. Replace defective parts immediately.
• R epair on OTE bead breaker of type III must be carried out by experts only. During repair protect the tool against accidental
operation.
• Use original spare parts only.
• Warning! Oil may leak under high pressure from damaged hydraulic ducts. Risk of severe injury!
• M ake sure hoses etc. are protected from external risks such as heat, fire, moving machine parts, sharp edges, falling objects,
aggressive chemicals etc.
• Secure the vehicle against rolling.
• O bserve local regulations (including those for prevention of accidents) in addition to the safety instructions contained in this
user manual.
