11. Connect the hose to the machine's intake with the
quick-connect adapter (not included). (Fig. E)
12. Open the water valve of the installation and adjust the
water flow with the valve on the machine.
13. To close water flow, turn the value to the perpendicular
position and close the installation's water valve. (Fig.
D-12)
WARNING! Before starting, make sure that the dust
cover is in its proper position. If not, the functioning of
the water feed system could be affected, reducing the
blade cooling capacity.
Connection of the suction system:
Direct connection with RUBI vacuum
14. The AS-30 PRO vacuum can be connected directly to
the tool without the need for an adapter.
15. Remove the suction intake and insert the vacuum
nozzle into the machine's air intake. (Fig. F)
Connection with an adapter
16. To connect vacuums not specified in the previous
section, a universal adapter (included) must be used.
17. Remove the suction intake and insert the universal
adapter into the machine's air intake. Then, the hose
of the vacuum that you wish to use. (Fig. G)
18. The diameters that are compatible with the use of the
universal adapter are Ø37, 42 and 50 mm.
¡WARNING! Check that your vacuum cleaner has a
filter for wet suction, and that is properly mounted.
Otherwise, don't use vacuum cleaner together with
the open water supply.
Adjusting the cutting depth:
19. Loosen the depth adjustment lever (counter-
clockwise) to release the position of the machine.
20. Adjust to the desired cutting depth using the depth
reference scale, and tighten the lever (clockwise) to
secure the position of the head. (Fig. H)
Adjusting the cutting angle:
21. The mitre cutting mechanism allows you to adjust the
cutter angle from 0 to 45°. For more precise cutting,
use the marks on the chassis support.
22. Turn the lever counter-clockwise for mitred cuts. The
system will be unlocked to allow adjustment. (Fig. I-9)
23. Turn the cutter head to the desired cutting angle. For
greater precision, you can use the angle marks on the
front of the frame, lining up the mark for the desired
angle with the pointer at the end. (Fig. I)
24. Once the cutting angle has been set, turn the lever
clockwise to lock the cutting position.
NOTE: for a square cut, turn the cutter head to the
0° position, so that the blade is perpendicular to the
piece being cut.
WARNING! When adjusting the cutter, make sure
that the side guard pivots automatically. When you
are finished cutting, put the side guard in its original
position. (Fig. I-8)
Slim Cutter rail system:
Using the TC-125 quick-set clamps
25. The SLIM SYSTEM guide system, included in the TC-
125 KIT, allows you to use the cutter to make precise,
square and clean cuts, while at the same time
protecting the surface of the ceramic being worked
against damage.
26. The TC-125 KIT includes 2 quick-set clamps to hold the
guide profile to the work piece. Using these elements
guarantees that the profile is firmly secured to the
