- ADDITIONAL RECHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

Before recharging, perform the check list set out in the AIRBAG
SYSTEM MANUAL
WARNING: DO NOT RECHARGE MOTOAIRBAG
as the airbag device could be damaged. In this case we recommend to contact
an authorized dealer or D.P.I. Safety s.r.l. for inspection.

5.1 HOW TO RECHARGE IN A HYBRID CONFIGURATION

Identify which type of activation has occurred in order to obtain the appropriate recharging kit.
■ Turn off the CPU (fig_5.1)
■ Disconnect the connector (internal use with the suit Mod MR101 - Racer Air Series) (fig_5.2)
■ Check the presence of the pyrotechnic actuator tip (1 - fig_5.3). Only if the tip is exposed
proceed with disassembly and replacement of the actuator (fig_5.4).
■ 1= ELECTRONIC activation
■ 2= MECHANICAL activation
Use the charging kit Cod D4210H to recharge the airbag after an ELECTRONIC activation.
Use the charging kit Cod D4210 to recharge the airbag after a MECHANICAL activation and
follow the instructions in the attached manual MOTOAIRBAG

5.2 HOW TO RECHARGE after an ELECTRONIC activation

First carry out the mechanical recharge (replace the cartridge - see attached manual),
then assembly the new pyrotechnic actuator and connect the electronic connector
(proceed conversely (fig_5.4 - 5.3 - 5.2 - 5.1)

5.3 Additional checklist

Perform a system diagnostics after an electronic activation. The App allows you to
check the proper functioning of:
■ Motorcycle Anchor
■ CPU
■ Wiring
