7 Appendix 2: Connecting digital input 1

In hybrid installations with Diesel generators and the main grid as power supplies, digital input 1
of the wattmeter is used to detect the voltage source.
The following diagram shows how to connect it. Use a normally open (NO) dry confirmation
contact where:

Open contact: the grid voltage is generated by the Diesel set.
·
Closed contact: the grid voltage is generated by the main grid.
