the oil tank cap while the engine is running or engine
is hot. Make sure the oil cap is properly closed while
operating the machine.

2.6. USAGE AND CARE OF THE MACHINE
This machine has been designed to prune trees
(branches at height). Use this machine exclusively
for the job it has been designed for. Do not use the
machine to cut trees, cut logs or cut other things apart
from wood.
Only cut wood. Do not use the electric chainsaw
for any other use. For example: do not use the electric
chainsaw to cut plastics, bricks or other construction
material different to wood. The use of the electric
chainsaw for other uses could lead to potentially
dangerous situations.
Use this machine and its related accessories
according to the instruction manual and taking into
account specific working conditions. The use of this
machine for jobs not contemplated here can be
dangerous.
Check that all security measures are in place and
work properly.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for damages
caused due to an incorrect use of the machine.
Keep all parts of body away from the cutting parts
and other moving parts when the machine is running.
Do not force the machine. Use the machine correctly.
The correct use of the machine will allow you to use
the machine for longer periods of time and for you to
work better.
Carry out maintenance work on the machine.
Check all moving parts prior to use and make sure
these work adequately and that they are not tangled,
broken or damaged as this will affect the performance
of the machine. Always repair the machine if tangled,
broken or damaged prior to use. Most accidents occur
due to poor maintenance of the machine.
If the blades hit a strange element whilst in use, stop
the machine, stop the engine, inspect the machine
looking for the possible cause and repair. If you don't
find the reason take your machine at your service.
Maintain cutting parts sharp and clean. The cutting
pieces if well sharpened and clean will less probably
get tangled up and will make the machine easier to
control.
Follow instructions as to oiling, chain tension and
chain change. A chain that is not adequately tensed or
oiled can break and increase the risk of back kicks.
Maintain the handles of this machine clean and dry.
Handles that are dirty or greasy become slippery and
cause loss of control over the machine.
Unplug the machine from the mains before carrying
out any maintenance work such as any adjustments,
accessory change or storage of the machine.
