1 Make suction connection ready for operation
• Fit the non-return valve on the
face of the suction side (not on
the pressure side!)
• Connect the suction hose incl.
floating extraction to the non-
return valve.
2 Filling the pump housing and the suction line
• Remove the filler plug from the
pump (top of the pump housing).
• Fill the pump housing with a wate-
ring can / measuring cup until the
pump housing overflows (approx.
4.5 l).
3 Commissioning
• Immerse the suction fitting comple-
tely in the water and connect the
mains plug.
• When the consumer is open, the
pump delivers water.
The impeller of the flow monitor is
located inside the discharge port
and must be clean and move freely.
(Pump body must not be opened!)

It may be necessary to start the
pump several times in short inter-
vals, i.e. disconnect and reconnect
the plug approx. every 15 seconds to
assist the venting of the suction line.

• Reinsert the filler plug
• Fill the suction line - Filling the
suction line completely makes the
first priming process much easier.
The pump will only work properly if
it is completely vented.
Even repeating this process 20 times
will not damage the pump.
