As a rule this alarm is due to interruption of the
breathing system.
The alarm is triggered when the rise in pressure fails

to reach at least 8 mbar in
successive inspiration
phases.
If audio response is enabled, the unit announces
"Check ventilation system and settings".
Disconnection alarm in CPR mode
If, when in CPR mode, no respiratory stroke is trig-
gered during a break specified by the metronome and
also during the subsequent phase of metronome
sounds, the "Disconnection" alarm is triggered. The
"Disconnection" alarm is triggered after 45 seconds if
the metronome is switched off and no respiratory
strokes are triggered. If audio response is enabled, the
unit announces "Rule out respiratory arrest and check
mask fit."
Disconnection alarm in Demandflow
mode
If the patient does not trigger MEDUMAT Easy CPR
within 15 seconds, the "Disconnection" alarm is
given. If audio response is enabled, the unit
