General information
2.1
Delivery
A fork lift truck must be available.
Weight of lifting platforms: approx. 600 kg.
2.2
Installation by third parties
These installation instructions and the information gi-
ven in the original operating instructions provided must
always be heeded. If the lifting platform is not erected
by Bosch customer service or a service agent autho-
rized by Bosch, the lifting platform must subsequently
be subjected to safety acceptance by Bosch customer
service or a service agent authorized by Bosch.
Safety acceptance involves the following:
R
Electrical functional test and trial run as per
BGG 945.
R
Examination of the individual assemblies and compo-
nents.
R
Test log book entry as per BGG 945-1.
R
Personnel instruction (safety and operation).
i
Failure to conduct such safety acceptance will ren-
der all warranty claims and liability invalid.
2.3
Annual inspection by qualified person
(UVV)
In addition to checking by our customer service prior
to initial commissioning of the lifting platform, official
regulations demand safety acceptance by a qualified
person at least once per year. Bosch customer service
or a service agent authorized by Bosch will be pleased
to submit a quotation for a maintenance agreement.
2.4
Warranty
As lifting platforms have to satisfy exacting safety requi-
rements to protect the personnel working with them, it
should be noted that the acknowledgement of warranty
claims is subject to the performance of proper safety
acceptance, maintenance work and recording in the
test log book. Exclusive use is to be made of genuine
Bosch replacement parts, as the fitting of parts from
other manufacturers invalidates the type approval and
any warranty claims.
