ASSEMBLY
TO CONTROL THE FLOW OF WATER
See Figure 17.
Fill the water tray with clean water as described below.
Locate the "Max/Min" water flow selector on the pump.
For best performance, set the flow to "Max" to control
the flow of water over the wheel.
The pump turns on when the motor is turned on. Let the
cutting wheel build up to full speed and wait for the wheel
to get wet before moving the material into the wheel.
DANGER:
Laser radiation. Avoid direct eye contact with light
source.
WARNING:
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein could
result in hazardous radiation exposure.
INSTALLING LASER BATTERIES
See Figure 18.
Remove screw from battery compartment cover using
the Phillips end of the supplied arbor wrench. Remove
cover and set aside.
Install two AAA batteries according to polarity indicators
inside the battery compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover. Reinstall screw
and tighten securely.
USING THE LASER GUIDE
See Figures 18 and 19.
Draw a line on the tile. Turn the laser on and off by pressing
the laser guide switch. When the laser is turned on it will
generate a red line on the work surface. This line will assist
you in lining up the mark for more accurate cutting of the tile.
Align the laser line and the mark with the wheel in the cutting
position using the laser adjustment screw.
Make several practice cuts on different styles and thickness
of material. Repeat the steps as necessary.
