1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
Prudence is essential when it comes to on the job safety and to
prevent industrial accidents.
The following cautions are offered here for this precise purpose.
Failure to follow the regulations listed below releases Goldoni from all
liability.
1. Before operating the machine and its attachments, ask your Goldoni dealer
for all the help you need to before familiar with the use of all controls and to
be able to operate the machine competently and safely.
2. Do not tamper with the machine or any of its parts.
3. Check to make sure that all revolving parts of the machine (PTO, Cardan
couplings, pulleys, etc.) are fully guarded.
4. Do not use the machine or its attachments if without guards or if these latter
are damaged.
5. Do not wear clothing that could be pulled into the machine's or the
attachments' revolving parts.
6. Before starting the engine be certain that the gear shift and PTO are in
neutral.
7. The operator must check to be certain there are no by-standers, animals of
objects within the machine's working range.
8. Let out the clutch gradually to prevent the machine from jumping the clutch.
9. Never leave the machine unguarded with the engine running.
10. Do not go downhill with the clutch disengaged or the gear shift in neutral. Use
the engine to brake the machine.
If you find you are using the brake a lot when going downhill, put the machine
into a lower gear.
11. Follow the Road Code when on-road driving.
12. Never service, repair or carry out any kind of work on the tractor or attached
implements unless the engine has been turned off, the key removed from the
starter and the attachment lowered to the ground.
Park the machine so as to ensure its stability. Set the handbrake and engage a
gear (1st uphill, reverse for downhill). If necessary use a chock.
13. Do not run the engine in an enclosed area: engine exhaust is poisonous.
14. To prevent risk of fire, do not re-fuel the machine with the engine running.
15. To prevent risk of fire, from time to time check the fuel line and replace it if it
has hardened or shows cracks, splits or any other defects that could
compromise its seal.
16. Do not carry equipment on the machine other than its standard supply kit. Do
not carry passengers.
17. After any handlebar adjustment or rotation, check to make sure that the
safety devices work perfectly.
18. Tag plates and sticker are essential means of information on correct use of
the machine. Replace them when they are illegible or badly worn.
19. The operator must check to be certain that every part of the tractor and,
especially the safety devices, are in good working condition and work to
