2) In order to stop the generator set, press the "STOP" button on the control panel or
turn the startup key to "OFF" position.
3.7.3 After Stopping Engine
◆ Check the engine crankcase oil level. Maintain the oil level between the "ADD"
and "FULL" marks on the oil level gauge.
◆ Allow the engine to cool. Loosen the cooling system filler cap slowly to relieve the
pressure. Remove the cap and check the coolant level.
◆ Repair the leaks and tighten the loose bolts.
◆ Notice the reading of the service hour meter. Perform the maintenance which is
scheduled in the "Maintenance Interval Schedule" of this manual. If it is expecting
the freezing temperatures, check the coolant for protection against freezing. The
cooling system must be protected against freezing to the lowest expected outdoor
temperature. If necessary, all more coolant/water mixture.
3.8 Lubricant，Fuel and Coolant Recommendations
3.8.1 Lubricant Recommendations
The lubricant should meet the requirements of the genset. Choose different types
of oil according to the requirements of the diesel engine and regional environment
temperature. Due to individual applications, different generator sets are equipped with
different engines. Please refer to the attached manual for the engine lubricant.
Do not mix different types of lubricant!

3.8.2 Fuel Recommendations

The base fuel tank of the generator set supplies fuel to the engine. The fuel
should meet the requirements of the genset. Choose different types of fuel according
to the requirements of the diesel engine and regional environment temperature. Due
to individual applications, different generator sets are equipped with different engines.
Please refer to the attached manual for the engine fuel.
◆ The fuel must be clean and not contain any water.
◆ The fuel temperature is an important factor for proper working conditions of the
engine. Due to the expansion of the fuel, Fuel temperature above 71℃ will
decrease the output power of the engine.
◆ In the line of fuel system, use of the water filter separators will reduce the
corrosion of the injector and fuel pump.
3.8.3 Coolant Recommendations
Due to individual applications, different generator sets are equipped with different
engines. Please refer to the attached manual for the engine coolant.
