Sat IF distribution system
Multi-switch
Features
Multi-switch for splitting four sat levels and terrestrial
signals to 16 connections
Only one drop cable per receiver needed (two for twin
receivers)
Independent choice of horizontal/vertical, low/high by
each receiver
Switching over the coaxial cable using 14/18 V and
0/22 kHz signal frequencies
With integral amplifi er for low attenuation in satellite
signal band
Integral pre-emphasis to equalise cable attenuation
Terrestrial signals can be received in the 5-862 MHz
band even when the satellite receiver is switched off
High degree of insulation between outputs
LNB can be remote fed via the "horizontal low" input.
All other inputs are voltage-free (enabling operation
with UAS 585)
The power supply for the LNB that is connected is
provided by the receiver. When all receivers are
switched off, the system requires no power
To achieve a continuous power supply to the LNB
(for instance for cascading with loop-through multi-
switches), there exists the option of connecting the
NCF 18 plug-in power supply unit (not included with
this product) to the socket marked "DC"
Installation and safety instructions
• The equipment described is designed solely for the installation of satellite receiver systems.
• Any other use, or failure to comply with these instructions, will result in voiding of warranty cover.
