Clean/Replace the Diaphragm

NOTICE: The valve is heavy. Hold it firmly to avoid dropping it.
Close the control stop valve.
NOTE: If the unit has not flushed since the stop valve was closed,
the inlet arm may still be pressurized.
Using a strap wrench, slowly turn the inlet arm valve nut
counterclockwise. Water pressure in the inlet arm may release.
Loosen the inlet arm valve nut and slip it back on the inlet arm.
Using a strap wrench, loosen the vacuum breaker tube nut at the
bottom of the valve body.
Remove the valve and place it on a flat surface.
Using the hex wrench (supplied), remove the screw from the cap.
Remove the cap by lifting from the valve body.
Pull the connectors apart to disconnect the plug from the
solenoid.
Temporarily store the cap and DC sensor assembly in a safe
place.
Using the hex wrench, loosen the inlet arm setscrew.
Using a strap wrench, loosen and remove the inlet arm from the
valve body.
Remove the diaphragm.
