Intended usage
– EEx d IIC and EEx e II (EN 50014, EN 50018 and EN 50019) for hazardous areas.
– Permanent operating temperature range -60 to +130 °C (with LSF sealing ring).
– Ingress protection type IP 66 / IP 67.
– Use only with permanently fixed enclosures of less then 2,000 cm³ volume.
– Use only with unarmored and permanently fixed cables with smooth elastomeric or plas-
tic sheath of suitable outside diameter.
Mounting instructions
1.
Verify used cable for suitability (type, operating temperature rating, outside diameter,
and so on).
2.
Prepare cable for mounting, check outside sheath for damages and soil.
3.
Insert cable into cable gland and tighten until the cable is firmly fixed and sealed by
the sealing ring.
4.
Clamp cable to prevent pulling and twisting.
