La edad gestacional que se calcula con el sistema SonoSite no corresponde a la
edad en la referencia antes mencionada para las mediciones del perímetro
abdominal (CA) de 20,0 cm y 30,0 cm. El algoritmo implementado extrapola la
edad gestacional a partir de la pendiente de la curva de todas las mediciones de
la tabla, en lugar de disminuir la edad gestacional para mediciones de CA
mayores como se indica en la tabla de referencia. Esto hace que la edad
gestacional aumente siempre de forma proporcional al CA.
