E. USING THE MACHINE
1.- ELECTRICAL PANEL AND CONTROL PANEL
The control panel (fig. 13) contains controls for all machine functions. It is located on
the right-hand side of the machine, mounted on a mobile arm that allows it to be
conveniently positioned. The location and operation of the controls have been
ergonomically planned. Use if the control panel is facilitated by a series of particular
markings.
WARNING
Although the control panel has been constructed to resist water
infiltrations with IP 54 insulation rating, it must not be handled with dirty or
wet hands.
1) BLADE START / STOP
Button with upper part I = START (command confirmed by
lighting up of while indicator light al centre of the button) and
lower part O = STOP. Allows rotation of the blade motor to
be started and stopped.
2) START / STOP CARRIAGE CYCLE
Button with upper part I = START (command confirmed by
lighting of white light at centre of button) and lower part O =
STOP.
This button permits starting and stopping of the automatic
FORWARD / RETURN horizontal carriage movement cycle
between the two end-stops located at the ends of the travel
rail.
3) BLADE RAISING/LOWERING
There is a three-position selector to control vertical
positioning of blade with respect to worktable.
Normally located at centre = REST. Rotate to left = BLADE
UP, rotate to right = BLADE DOWN.
The vertical movement value is shown on a graduated scale
located above the blade protection hood.

MANUAL CARRIAGE RETURN CONTROL
Button that permits the "RETURN" movement of the
carriage to be performed at any time.
5) POTENTIOMETER FOR REGULATION OF
FORWARD MOVEMENT SPEED.
Potentiometer with markings on rim to set forward
movement speed of the carriage and mobile beam.
6) POTETIOMETER FOR REGULATION OF RETURN
MOVEMENT SPEED
Potentiometer with markings on rim to set return movement
speed of the carriage and mobile beam.
7) SELECTOR UP/DOWN WHEELS OF WORK
TABLE (OPT.)
WHEELS UP: during the loading phase or moving the slab
WHEELS DOWN: before working phase.
An electric safety system will not allow the function of the
selector during the working cycle to avoid dangerous
movements of the slab.
8) EMERGENCY BUTTON
This button must be pressed in cases of emergency to
immediately stop the machine. To reset the machine, rotate
the cap of the button in a clockwise direction and press
START.
9) BLADE ROTATION SPEED SELECTOR
Selector with two positions that allows blade rotation speed
to be set to 1400 rpm or 2800 rpm.
