suffocation from breathing in or swallowing plastic
film or small parts.
 Keep packaging away from children.

2.2. Operating safety

• Before using the device for the first time, check the device
for damage. A defective or damaged device may not be
operated.

Risk of electric shock!
Risk of injury from electric shock due to live parts.
They pose a risk of electric shock or fire if an unin-
tentional short circuit occurs.
 Do not place containers filled with liquid, e.g.
vases, on or near the product, and protect all
the parts from drips or splashes. Such contain-
ers could tip over and the liquid could impair the
electrical safety of the device.
 Never open the product housing or power supply
housing and do not push objects inside the prod-
uct through the slots and openings
 If the mains adapter, connection cable or device is
damaged, immediately unplug the mains adapter
from the socket.
 If liquid or foreign bodies get into the device, un-
plug the network adapter from the socket imme-
diately.
 Unplug the mains adapter from the socket if you
are away for a long period or there is a thunder
storm.
