6. Using the device for the fi rst time

6.1. Inserting batteries

 Remove the battery compartment cover.
 Insert four 1.5 V batteries of type AA and ensure that the polarity is correct (+/-).
 Fit the battery compartment cover again until it audibly clicks into place.
